The subtle Cisco love and motivation in this episode was crazy. I knew Iris couldn't be dead, but I didn't expect HR to make that kind of sacrifice. It opened the door for The Flash to try something a little different at this season's end and perhaps even course-correct for past mistakes. It's a confident and at times clunky episode that manages to recapture some of the show's heart right when it needs it the most.
Given that Caitlin's embrace of her meta-human abilities is one of the most fun aspects of the season, I'm glad her character is being developed in this direction.
